User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 egroupware is a fork of phpgroupware which features among others a calendar. this calendar offers a "group planner" which renders well in ie but freezes both mozilla firebird 0.7 as well as netscape 7.1 on windows. disabling javascript has not resolved the problem, although i did get to see a bit more of the page. egroupware.org offers a demo which has this group planner as its startpage, so it's currently quite easy to test this. should that demo be updated, i could install a demo myself, if necessary. (i have confirmation for these problems on windows and will be able to check using linux versions of mozilla as well as firebird 0.7 in a few days.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.visit http://www.egroupware.org/egroupware/ 2.log in as user: demo , password: guest 3.change to calendar, group planner if it is not already open (currently configured as startpage) Actual Results: both mozilla-firebird 0.7 and netscape 7.1 froze. Expected Results: ie renders this page well enough. i would have expected mozilla to do the same. filing as "critical" since the browser freezes. i don't seem to have talkback-enabled builds available, i'll try to provide additional data once i do.

might the problem be caused by code like the following excerpt? <TD colspan="4290214329"> </TD> <TD colspan=345602 similar attributes can be found several times when browsing the html source.
removing the large colspan from the source fixes the issue *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 141818 ***
