User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 In the page http://www.sashadesign.com/ (and pretty much all pages on this site), there is a container layer (id="bzzz") that sometimes doesn't show properly. If I scroll down-up a bit, or minimize-maximize, everything gets fixed. This happens randomly. I also mentioned this here: http://www.sashadesign.com/comments/746/ Here is a screen-shot, which will be very helpful in understanding the problem: http://www.sashadesign.com/temp/firefox_bug.gif Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.sashadesign.com 2. Browse through the site or reload the page a few times until the bug appears. 3. Actual Results: The containing layer (#bzzz) gets cut in some strange way. It doesn't rander properly. Expected Results: It should show the layer correctly.
It seems OK in: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040227 Firefox/0.8.0+ If possible could you see if the problem still happens with a nightly build please: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
Installed the nightly build on my laptop. The problem still appears using: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040302 Firefox/0.8.0+ (In reply to comment #1) > It seems OK in: > > Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040227 > Firefox/0.8.0+ > > If possible could you see if the problem still happens with a nightly build please: > http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ (In reply to comment #1) > It seems OK in: > > Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040227 > Firefox/0.8.0+ > > If possible could you see if the problem still happens with a nightly build please: > http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
A minimized testcase would help here.
I already mentioned that scrolling or minimizing-maximizing fixes the problem. I just discovered that if I select the address bar, the problem gets fixed too.
