Now that David did all the heavy lifting to add IDLE support, I'll add some UI
to control it. I figure laptop users and folks that have IDLE issues with their
imap servers may wish to turn this off.

the fix
David, do you have a preference as to the wording of this option?

the fix
this looks good - my only caveat is that only some servers support the IDLE
extension, so for many users, checking this box will have no effect. I wonder
if maybe we should switch the sense of the UI and have a "Disable use of the
IDLE command". Or maybe, "Use IDLE command if server supports it" - it's
awkward, I know...

I changed the string to:
<!ENTITY useIdle.label "Use IDLE command if the server supports it">
Nominating for 1.7b since it's a low risk change and if problems come up with
the IDLE stuff we can point users/testers to this UI to turn it off

um, what does the IDLE command do? can you use a wording that uses less
technical terms? I'd suggest one but I don't know what IDLE does...

IDLE is an IMAP extension that puts the server in a mode where it will tell the
client about new mail, instead of the client polling for new mail. This UI is in
the advanced IMAP settings, so I don't think it's that bad to use the word IDLE
here.

If laptop users may experience problems with IDLE (extra power usage, whatever),
should this be put in the release notes?
