User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 With Windows XP SP2 there is a new feature called "Attachment Execution Service". it basicly remembers witch files have been downloaded and warns users before executing them. i'Ve uploaded a screenshot here: http://stud3.tuwien.ac.at/~e9726512/pics/ie6sp2.jpg this is a (german) warning from Windows Explorer before executing this App i've downloaded with IE6SP2 (RC1). Note This warning comes from the windows explorer and not from IE itself. so it warns even if i've downloaded the file months before. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Expected Results: I think it would be a good idea to have the option in all Mozilla Browsers to Support this feature (and it should be on by default). At least in mainstream versions (FireFox) this warning could help some clueless users. Here is a Winword file describing this feature (but not detailed) http://download.microsoft.com/download/6/6/c/66c20c86-dcbe-4dde-bbf2-ab1fe9130a97/windows%20xp%20sp%202%20white%20paper.doc
