User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; de-de) AppleWebKit/124 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125.1 Build Identifier: mozilla/5.0 I think this is more or less a Ebay mistake, because all my modern browser Safari, Camino, react the same way, just old Explorer can manage it. If I try to upload a photo, there is a Java script message: If you don't wait, your photos will be lost, or similar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Selling an item on Ebay 2.choose your photo 3.try to go to the next page Actual Results: Java message or nothing
Andre, if you suspect this is an error on eBay's site, it would be helpful for you to contact them about it and let us know what response, if any, you receive.

Time for the Tech evangelists to hammer ebay: Subject: Re: IS=C33006 Other photo issue questions [#UK ?01] (KMM16961240V14364L0KM) Date: Sun, 25 Jul 2004 20:59:35 -0700 From: eBay Customer Support <cswebhelp@ebay.com> Reply-To: eBay Customer Support <cswebhelp@ebay.com> Hello xxxxxx, Thank you for your email. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you with the problems you're having when trying to upload your pictures. The Foxfire bfowser is not compatible with Picture Services and we recommend using the most current version of the Internet Explorer or Netscape browser. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. However, we designed eBay Picture Services in such a way that it will support the vast majority of our sellers. But we weren't able to build in support for every version of every web browser. To download the latest version of Internet Explorer go to the following URL: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp Once there click on Downloads on the left hand side of the page and select latest Version. To download the latest version of Netscape, please go to the URL below and follow the instructions on the page: http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/download.jsp Regards, Chelsea eBay Picture Service Support ______________________________ Important: eBay will not ask you for sensitive personal information (such as your password, credit card and bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, etc.) in an email. My browser I'm using is FIREFOX 0.9.1. It is IMPOSSIBLE to upload photos. Ii's come to my notice that I'm not the only one having problems with this, and would be really grateful if you could look into the problem as soon as possible. If you think the problem lies with FIREFOX,perhaps you could work with developers to get it fixed.,as I'm sure it will benefit you also,if more are able to list items for sale. Obviously it would be good if your site worked with ALL browsers. Hopefully you will be able to remedy this quickly, Many Thanks
ebay's letter is a joke. It used to work just fine for me and it's ridiculous to require that your customers install new software that is known to have security holes in it. No, this is eBay's fault, and because of their incapbility to reverse changes that have had a negative effect on their users, I'm not impressed with their support. If all they can do is point you to a bug-ridden and insecire mess (and I'm not trying to point fingers here; this is known fact), they must not care about the security of customers' computers. I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041013 Firefox/0.10. I have also filed a 'it doesn't work' complaint to ebay's web boards after waiting multiple weeks for this to be fixed.

Went to revise an auction and when on the form to change "Pictures and Item Details" form it would not allow the change to be accepted. Error Message: Please enter your correct information in the highlighted fields below. Add pictures Scroll down and find this error message: Gallery pictures must be .jpg, .tif, or .bmp files. Please submit one of these file types. When you attempt to either add a jpg file or click on the selection :The description already includes a picture URL for my item. It will not take the change and will keep coming back with the same error message. Had to cancel the revision could not get off this page. Mac OSX 1.4 Tiger on Camino 1.0b1

This is happening again. I am unable to upload photos to eBay using Firefox 61.0.2 (64-bit). Once you attempt to do this the wheel spins and nothing happens. From this point on the browser will not load any additional pages. You have to close the browser and reload. this is a huge pain!
