Launched from shortcut to a newly-created profile via profilemanager. Clicked on the "Add Engines" selection in the dropdown menu on the searchbar--no response. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on searchbar down-arrow 2. Select Add engines . . . Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: Should have navigated to http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040604 Firefox/0.8.0+ works fine.
From ben's comment, fix for bug 245433 is supposed to resolve this too. Check tomorrow builds.
Ed, any more issues with this? Please let us know if it's working for you in a new nightly build, so this bug can be resolved. Cheers :)
This is no longer a problem, at least in branch builds. I just now added search engines in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040629 Firefox/0.9.0+ and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040702 Firefox/0.9.0+. IIRC, I was able to add search engines in 0.9.
Cool, thanks for the quick reply. It's working fine on trunk builds, too (at least for me), so I'll resolve it.
