When viewing the dayview of the calendar shipped with phpgroupware, a black
retangle is displayed. I expected to see different colored rows for every
timeslot. Any appointments are shown in the rectangle. This problem also appears
in mozilla 1.7b under Linux. Both Opera en IE display the dayview correctly.
The URL above is a saved version of the real site. It has exact the same
problems. Of course I can't provide a login to the real page, but I can supply
more info/data in necessary.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the URL above
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Black rectangle drawn
Expected Results:
Draw colored rows.
here is a simplified testcase, sorry for inlining it but the fileupload didn't
work for me :-(

This testcase shows the layout problems mentioned in comment 0

Not an HTML parser issue. The page has invalid CSS like "background: DDDDDDD";
note the lack of at '#' before the color spec. We fix up such things in quirks
mode except for shorthand properties. Unfortunately, "background" is a
shorthand property. So the CSS is ignored (as it should be per spec) and the
black background of the parent table is all you see).
Over to evangelism. We should contact the phpgroupware people to fix their
CSS... Remco Poelstra, could you do the same?

I'll contact the phgroupware team and point them to this bug, since I don't know
anything about CSS.
