I click on the firefox shortcut to run the program, and the small window,
'finishing installation of extension, this may take a minute' does not go away,
it is up, i click again on the shortcut then the firefox .9 will open, but the
small window stating about finishing installation does not go away, i left it
like that for hours and it didnt go away. how can I get it so it dont come up
next time i start up firefox? I mean, i can use firefox, it is just distracting
having to have that up.
Now the second issue is this, when i go to play spades on Pogo, it doesnt
load the room after the advertisement. So, i cant play games on pogo with this
browser, neither was i able to on Netscape, firefox .8, mozilla, the only
browsers that work with pogo at the current time being are Internet Explorer and
MSN Premium. The tabbed browsing on this browser is great! And it is only
negligably slower than MSN's browser. I mean, the extensions other than java, i
think it is something to do with java is why i can load the room after the
advertisement on pogo, however, it is beyond the scope of my usability, I am
aware of settings and so forth, but when it comes to the programming, I am in
the dark and only have an idea. I like this browser, i like how i can read and
create my msn email from this browser without having to open up msn. One more
thing, i have the msn toolbar on Internet Explorer, How can I install the msn
toolbar to firefox? I tried doing it last night and couldnt, it kept opening up
my Internet Explorer which already has the toolbar that I wish to put on this
browser. Well, thanks, please get back to me at josephfchadwick@msn.com thanks

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Well, i click the shortcut again the window opens, then i rightclick mouse and
close the 'installation finishing' and it closes.
2.Have been thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling the firefox .9 to fix
it that way. It happened after downloading the plug ins, flash player and
shockwave and java.
3.

Actual Results:
Nothing, i havent uninstalled it, the other nothing changes.

Expected Results:
Well, it should have finished the install, (which i think it is,) and the window
should go away, but it doesnt.

My computer is running well, and no viruses, and running smooth, just the
annoying window not going away, the browser has not crashed, i have done a lot
of what i normally do. I can go to database and i can bring up journals on pdf
from acrobat reader really smooth. It does not crash on that, i havent seen it
crash yet.

I am resolving this as a duplicate of 246687, since the 'finishing extensions
installation' problem is fixed in several bugs, and the reports doesn't contain
enough information to choose from them.

If you are still getting the Finishing extensions intallation dialog with
Firefox 1.0PR, reopen and provide more information.

The Pogo games bug probably is one of bugs listed in bug 194663, the closest is
bug 247569 (which is unconfirmed yet though). Joseph, you might want to add
yourself to CC list on that bug.
