Mozilla Firefox creates the reg.db entries in HKEY Current User\Mozilla
while Thunderbird creates them in:
HKEY Current User\mozilla.org

PLEASE please make them consistent!
What are reg.db entries?

Why is this bug filed under Thunderbird? Bug's summary talks about Firefox only.

No. Summary field (bug's title) mentions Firefox only.
Would it be hard to find this bug for people searching by title?

The bug is about Thunderbird's reg.db, which is why its filed on Thunderbird. It
could go either way, I'd guess.
