Linux (2000-01-21-08 M13) Win_nt (2000-01-21-09 M13) Mac (2000-01-21-09 M13) Steps: 1. Launch Messenger using the -mail option 2. From Inbox or any other folders, click and shift click a few messages (at least 2) and click on Delete. Actual result: It freezes application and eventually crashes. Sometimes it may take more than 2 to 3 times to reproduce the freeze. Expected result: It should not freeze Messenger This occurs on Linux and Win_nt only in POP account only. t does not happen on Mac.

Reassign to jefft. Maybe a dup of the issue which was fixed by deleting the summary files. Sure would be nice to find out if the summary files are wrong, or something else.

Target Milestone: M14
Does removing *.msf file fix the problem? hyatt is still working on shift-click implementation. Should be in in M14.

(Why is there all this extra stuff in fenella's comments? I'll cc: terry.)
Very strange! All I had was the last 3 lines starting the build date.

This looks a lot like fenella accidentally selected part of the page and then pasted it in and didn't notice because it all scrolled away. Another theory is that she used mozilla and it has some weird bug in it. This seems less likely to me. I can't think of any conceivable way that it could have happened due to a problem in Bugzilla itself.
