Using BuildID 2004061507 on WinXPsp1 Steps to Reproduce 1. Have an LDAP directory server setup and configure under addressing 2. Open compose window 3. Click on Address icon 4. Select LDAP server from the "Look in" drop down 5. Start to type a known entry into the "for" field Expected Results 1. Listing of matching entries appear Actual Results 1. Nothing is listed If you select from the Window menu, Address Book then that works fine and so does the compose window's autocomplete. This regression happened somewhere between BuildID 2004041709 and BuildID 2004042010.

I think the problem is that the mSortColumn is not set...which causes some NS_ENSURE_SUCCESS(rv, rv) to abort adding cards to the view.

I have a work-around for this, but I'd like to figure out why we're losing the sort column when switching directories...
