User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9 if you accidentally install 2 copies of IE view 0.8 then the next time you start Firefox it will just sit at Finishing Installing Extensions... until you start it up in safe mode and unistall the one. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install 1 copy of IE view .8 2.exit so it can finish installing 3.come back in and go get the extension again 4.exit 5.open up firefox again and it will sit there. Actual Results: sat at Finishing Installing Extentions every time I opened up Firefox without going to safe mode. Expected Results: prevent the second instalation so that this doesn't accidentally happen again.

Do you have a link to the specific version of the extension you reproduced this bug with? I am unable to reproduce it with IEView 0.8 (beta) from update.mozilla.org or with IEView 0.81 from the author's site, though upgrading from 0.8 (beta) to 0.81 triggers Bug 246687. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9
i did this with the one on the mozilla site, I'll have to check when I get off from work to see what version I have. I was pretty sure it was when I installed this, but there was another item that said will install on next time and I think its said that for a couple of times before it locked up on opening.
