User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040712 Firefox/0.9.1+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040712 Firefox/0.9.1+ There should exist an option to open Livemarks as a single web page: the XML (RSS/Atom feed) with a themable XSL so the feed can be presented as a web page including excerpts feed posts usually have. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the Bookmarks menu 2. Locate a Livemark 3. Actual Results: When you click on a livemark folder it does nothing. Expected Results: Clicking on a livemark could open a webpage consisting of the XML feed with a themable XSL to keep it consistant with the general interface. Or, like the supressed "Open in tabs" option available for bookmark folders, add an option "Open this livemark", preferable placed at the top, before all livemark items. Or, do both.
Confirming RFE.

what if mousedown on the livemark opened the list of entries and then as normal a mouseup on a livemark entry went to that entry but a livemark on the parent just went to the originating webpage? that way a livemark can double as a bookmark. i dont know maybe you're going for something different.

Updated the description to live bookmark. Also, in initial report I meant that the XSL could be themable so the livemark render would match the general look.
Summary: Open livemark as a web page → View live bookmark as a web page
The Live Bookmarks feature is not intended to be used as a RSS reader; what you're describing is the domain of Thunderbird's RSS bits, or an extension like Sage.
