I always have to frown at this icon a bit when I see it, trying to figure out what it might be trying to say to me. When I click it to find out, I know that it must be real art because its meaning it just beyond me. But then I forget again by the next time I see it.
From glancing at it briefly it looks like an artists pallete and a paintbrush. Noticing that you have a gimp email address surely this would be obvious to someone like you.
I had no idea what it was either, and I had spent plenty of time staring at it, pondering. The trouble might be that the paint swatches are 1x1 pixel. The paintbrush and the hole in the pallette look way too much like a '/' followed by a '.', slashdot.org's logo.
This is just very slightly better IMO. All it does is expand the swatches to 2x2 pixels and thus give poor people on high-resolution displays a few more clues to decipher with until an iconic genius can think of something better.
maybe ask the qute author to use just that icon from his theme 'cause the old (3 crayons) and new (page with "A" and pencil) versions of his icon was/is very clear or, consider going back to qute for the default theme or, consider having Firefox ship with 2 themes pre-installed (similar to the the situation with "the Suite" where there is classic and modern pre-installed), but go ahead and have winstripe by default anyway, yeah ... I knew it was a palate, but couldn't really figure what else was what
I'm allergic to soy.
I always thought the icon was to order pizza. A good feature, I thought. Why not just move this functionality to the view menu if a problem?

This bug is part of a query for Firefox bugs that have Status set to NEW, but have version field set to 2.0 or older and have not changed in over 800 days. http://tiny.cc/forgottennewbugs If you still see this bug, or if it is still valid with Firefox 3.6.10 or a firefox 4 nightly build, please update the version field and steps to reproduce.
I can only find View->Page Style as a place to change to alternate stylesheets, but there is no icon in that menu in Firefox 21 Nightly. Please reopen if there are new STR in a recent version of Firefox.
