User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 I found after upgrading (I guess it's an upgrade when you go backward?) from 1.8 alpha2 to 1.7.2, any bookmarks that contained an apostrophe in the name, such as Sharon's Place got converted to Sharon's Place. Two other bookmarks came out with >> in the file name but they were seldom used and don't remember what the original name was. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run mozilla-win32-1.7.2-installer.exe and then look at bookmarks. 2. 3. Actual Results: Bookmark names were altered. Expected Results: Copied the bookmark names.
It's called downgrading, and there's nothing (I know) we could do to prevent that, apart from changing 1.7, which has been rejected by drivers. WONTFIX
