Radio menuitem groups used to automatically show a checkmark for the checked 
menuitem, and remove the checkmark for the other menitems.  Neither of these 
features is working on the Mac now.  The checkmarks are not automatically added, 
and the existing checkmark is not being removed.

I'll take this one.

It appears, however, that this was just never implemented on macOS. I'll do it, 
but probably friday at the earliest (given time to learn the code and rewrite 
bits).

ya know, this doesn't really seem to work on linux either.

The address book window has a radio menu for Show Name As under the View menu.  
This should be a working simple case for testing...

pushing back, this is so low priority. Removing pdt+ designation as the menus 
still work, just that the checkbox is wrong. This is also only used in one sub-
menu in addressbook. Hardly front and center in the app.

Whoa!  This is used in many places all over mail and address book.  I was just 
giving you a simple case to test with.  This feels very broken to the user when 
trying to use one of these menus.  While some may believe this is less important 
than other beta1 bugs, I would not lower the priority level too far.  This is one 
of those polish items that is just plain expected to work.

The charset menu is using them too.
