Using 2000-02-02-08 on mac OS 8.5.1 can't reproduce on linux or nt Using today's build I cannot get the Subscribe dialog to launch. I've tried with mail selection, news server selection (subscribed groups or not), newsgroup selection, news message focus. Nothing happens even after waiting a long while. Happens on two different machines and profiles. No crash or hang, system remains usable.

I am curious about which mail account (POP or IMAP)are you using?
I've tried it using three different profiles with the same result == no subscribe dialog: 1. POP and news 2. news only 3. IMAP and news

Yes. I cannot Subscribe new newsgroup by using IMAP, either. Raising Priority to P2, and suggest to fix on beta1, adding beta1!

Ye. I know this is nothing to IMAP or POP, but I thought this maybe the similar bug of bug#26283 initially, but after I tried....yes! this is news specific problem.

But, I still saw bug#21019 problem for Mac, I cannot create new folder (1st level folder) from the server itself since it is out of the window....

Bug#24942 is another problem...what I mean is: I cannot select "choose this for the parent" of the mail server to create the 1st level folders since it had been covered by the Mac 9.0 top menu bar. It's more close to bug#26151(dup of bug#21019)but occurred on "New folder's" drop down menu....
