Not seeing this using 2000-02-16-08 on NT. Bijal or Esther? Anyone have a Talkback incident ID?
I haven't seen this bug will try to reproduce it and get a stack trace.
I tried to reproduce this using build 2000-02-17-09 and can't. Before I try several scenarios, I would like to get a little more information: 1. Did you have only (1) 4.x profile when you migrated to Seamonkey? 2. In your 4.x profile was your Appearance Preference set to "On startup launch: "Messenger"? I ask these questions because your steps don't mention Profile Manager coming up during migration or when launching the 2nd time and step 6 states Messenger comes up automatically.

It is pretty simple to reproduce, but only if I had explained it better: 1) Launch Seamonkey with a default profile that launches Mail component at start 2) Exit the Mail client 3) On password dialog, hit cancel Seems that because the Mail window was dismissed, the cancel dialog keeps crashing.

Don't worry selmer, I'll weasel you out of it as well. The problem is that the password dialog isn't modal. If it were modal, you wouldn't be able to dismiss the mail client before closing the password dialog box. So this is a dup of bug 25684 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 25684 ***

Verified as duplicate. Note: you don't have to Cancel the dialog to crash, just exit the product while a modal dialog is still opened.
