Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3

I can create duplicate bookmarks by bookmarking the same page a couple of times
in a row. I think this should not be possible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Browse to a page
2. Press CTRL+D or click the Add Bookmark command in the Bookmarks menu
3. Click OK in the confirmation dialog
4. Goto step 2 (a couple of times)

Actual Results:
The bookmarks menu has several identical entries for the page I went to in step
1 of the Repro Steps.

Expected Results:
FF should have recognized that I was about to create a duplicate bookmark and
asked if I really wanted to do this.

The bug you marked this a dupe of is a Mozilla App Suite bug, not Firefox.
Firefox and the App Suite have separate and distinct UI layers, and the bookmark
UI in particular is noticibly different between the two. Fixing this in the app
suite will not fix it in Firefox.
