Darin and I have been doing work on the Software Update Service (JS+UI) on the
Software Update Branch for the past couple of weeks and would like to land that
work back onto the trunk so that work can continue and be incrementally landed
as work proceeds. Darin will be landing the AppRunner hooks for patch
application and the updater executable separately. Darin has already landed the
Incremental Download utility on the trunk.

Looks like some XBL bindings in update.xml went away without anyone fixing up
Thunderbird to not use these bindings anymore. That expains some of the XBL
prototype binding errors I'm getting. I've been able to fix those but I still
see the infinite update loop.

Sorry if this is too early:
I noticed the "Details" link next to an update in the new Software Update dialog
always opens in a new window even when I have configured firefox to open all new
window links in tabs. (Force links that open new windows to open in .. pref)
