Thunderbird version 1.0.6 (20050716) on Windows XP:

When I get an email that was forwarded as an attachment, and I open the
forwarded email, it contains the same mail again as attachment, so that I can
open it endlessly.

Furthermore, I cannot copy or move the attached mail to a thunderbird folder. I
can only save it as a file. When I open the file again, I still can't move it to
any thunderbird folder. This is the real annoying part of the bug, which has
already been reported as bug 289974.

The issue of this bug report is only the problem that an attached mail is
displayed as having itself as an attachment again, recursively.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pick any mail and forward it to yourself (Ctrl+L)
2. Receive the forwarded mail and double click it
3. Double click the attachment
4 [review]. The original mail is displayed, with itself as attachment
5. Go to step 3 - ad infinitum
Actual Results:  
When I open the attachment, it recursively contains itself as an attachment.

Expected Results:  
The attachment should not have itself as an attachment.

This bug is similar to bug 279597, but it happens also if the body of the
enwrapping mail is not empty.

Moz/Tb still has big issues on message/rfc822 attachment, Bug 203570 & Bug 204350.
Main probem of this bug is DUP of Bug 203570.
For other problems you are experiencing, search bugzilla and open new bug if
completely new problem, of add comment(s) to found bug(s) if already reported.

The issue of this bug report was only the recursive inclusion of the attachment,
but you're right, that's a dup of 203570. Sorry.
