I tried to use ctrl-click to select multiple messages and move them to a folder.
Only the last message clicked actually moved even though the highlighting was
correct.

The way this seems to work is that if you click again after selecting all the
messages, that's the message which gets moved. If you select the last message
and then begin the drag with that click, it works. Not sure if this is really a
D&D bug or a tree bug. cc'ing hyatt and pinkerton.

the drag service is perfectly capable of handling this, it seems like whoever is
iterating over the selection isn't doing it correctly (i have no idea, this just
landed in my plate w/out warning).

This works ok for me on NT 4.0 and mac OS 9.0, but I can't get it to work on
linux rh6.0
Reopening and adding pp keyword, changing platform to linux.

removing relnote2. I really don't think we need this in a release note.

um, i do. linux users might be pretty confused when they select 5 messages and
only the last one gets moved and they have no idea why.

OK, it's in the notes. But this is a pretty minor thing to release note. I mean
it's really evident by the fact that only one message has been moved from the
display that something is off here (and unix people don't need no stickin'
explanation!)... If we explained every nuance in our beta to this degree we'd
have a novel for release notes.

Just a note, this bug may be fixed when bug 27790(linux DND doesn't handle more
than one item)is fexed.
