After typing a search term in the places popup, the window expands to show placesList instead of placesContent.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.click places button
2.click search field to focus
3.enter search term

Actual Results:  
window expands to show placesList (see attached screenshot)

Expected Results:  
window expands to show search results

HaikuFox theme shown, but same result with default theme.  This problem has existed since the popup was first introduced.

It's a regression on Windows at least. Worked for me last week when the popup was introduced 4/12. I don't remember noticing it being broke until yesterday, 4/17 (but was out all weekend).

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
