win build 200-04-26-11 and linux mozilla build 2000-04-26-08- this feature is
still not working. (no good Mac build to test on today)
I can choose custom folder on these platforms but the profile is still stored in
default folder (users50 on win and /.mozilla on linux

reassigning to ben... the file picker(s) choose the directory... if that isn't
getting pass along to whoever writes the profile then someone needs to fix it.

nope, not working, using 5/10 builds- you can choose a folder- but the profile
is still stored in default per platform (users50 on win/documents on
mac/./mozilla on Linux
On Linux, the choose folder dialog does not work as before- ie directory
structure for browsing not shown.
Of all things beta users like to do it seems - control profile storage is #1-
see bug 27573 when this feature was crashing- many dupes reported

Everything here now worksforme (with fix for profile being created in default
dir bug) The linux file picker is really quirky, but there are most likely bugs
on that already in trudelle's group. I was able to pick where the profile was
created and have that be reflected in the UI.

See also bug 42392- crashing on Win (profile in custom folder)- found testing
bug 32808 - similar to this
I am able to choose custom folder but that is not reflected on Win UI
When I first see UI, default path shows
after pressing choose folder, default path disappears and after selecting new
path, the new path does not display on the UI

Removing "nsbeta2+" for reconsideration. The "regression" has been fixed. It's
just a display problem now. Nominationg for beta 3.
