From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0)
BuildID: Netscape 6 PR1

I have seen this with the mozilla nightlies and the Netscape PR1. When opening
netscape PR1, I receive the message:
netscp6.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point ??_U@YAPAXI@Z
could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCRT.dll.

in the mozilla dailies, I get the same message:
mozilla.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point ??_U@YAPAXI@Z
could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCRT.dll.

After that, if you click ok through the popup window, it begins to spawn
infinite other windows and gradually consume memory until you force kill it.

A screenshot of my screen can be found at:
http://devilnet.duke.edu/~philip/

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open mozilla.exe or netscp6.exe
2. Receive error message about dll in pop up window.
3. Click ok, and watch an infinite number of windows begin to pop up.

Actual Results: An infinite number of windows began to pop up, CPU usage
jumped to 100%, and it gradually used up more and more memory until I had to
kill it.

Expected Results: Start the browser window normally.
Do you have msvcrt.dll and msvcirt.dll in your c:\windows\system directory?
This is, I think, either related or a dup of 27601.
Not sure it is really a dupe of 27601
Instead of getting the mozilla dailies zip file get the installer version of the
dailies. It looks to make sure a few files are there that are needed.

report back after you ahve checked that.
I think this is a dup of bug #27601.

By the way Asa -- the mozilla binary installers do not yet contain msvcirt.dll,
so even using the installer will not correct the problem (i.e., give him the
missing library).
reporter - are you still seeing this with the m15 release?
Seems to be fixed with Release 15.

Hmmm, the above slipped through on a mid-air collision. Oh well.

I don't believe that msvcirt.dll is conditionally installed by the mozilla
binaries yet, but it probably works for you now because you installed some
other app that installed it. (Acrobat is one such example).
