Firefox should detect bidi direction of page titles automatically.  Fortunately direction of page titles in menus are correct. (GTK?)  But Tab titles need to do this too.

Look at the difference between "Gmail - Inbox (62)" in title and list.

Note that Persian text looks same in both.

As you can see, direction of both menu items are correct.  I couldn't found any xul menu entry with wrong direction.

The same issue in Firefox 4.0b11 on Mac:

Just updating the bug to confirm is it still valid and that right-to-left (RTL) text order in tabs is affected on the Mac as well.

It appears Bug 468513 is a duplicate of this, unless the issues must be fixed separately on Mac and Linux.
