When you are behind a MS Proxy server with access controls on (basic
authentication), even if you are granted permission to browse, you cant get past
the proxy unless you are also granted "Login to console" permission on the NT
server.

Netscape 4.x has the same problem, but Internet Explorer 4+ works fine. Theres a
MS Knowledge base page on it which gives the only work around for Netscape 4
here: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q218/4/84.asp

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Set your browser to use an MS Proxy with access control turned on to access
the web
2.Try to browse the web.

Actual Results: Repeatedly asked for user/password. Eventually clicked cancel
and was given error message stating i needed to login to proxy server.

Expected Results: Should have authenticated user against proxy, then gone to
correct page.

Microsofts own Knowledge base article id is Q218484.
Looks like a duplicate of bug 35159
ewan@thebananas.co.ukthbuild you are using from 1/25 is quite old. Please
download and test this with a current build. Marking this invalid. Bugs should
