Folsk would really like these debugging option implemented. This was brought up
at Seamonkey Leads. Can we get in after M16?

ground for moving bugs out of bugzilla)

perhaps we can pull the Netscape specific items out of this list and move it
back into the public? I know some of these are going to be implimented and most
of them would be important to mozilla as well as Netscape. THoughts?
These debugging request would help all. Putting on nsbeta3 and helpwanted
keyword, it would be great for anyone (mozilla or netscape) to get this happening.

adding sford since I think he was involved in implimenting a couple about:'s
about:mozilla works, adding leaf to cc list. Leaf - since you did the
about:mozilla, feel like doing this?

the fishcam could be in mozilla too, the about:logo and about:licence should be
made mozilla specific for the mozilla builds.
actually, i didn't do any about: work; but i'll poke at this in my ``free time''
sford, you want this one?
I will take a look at it. I need to speak with people in the
history/cache/imglib area to find out about what would be needed for those. I
have about:plugins and another one implemented.
assigning to sford. thanks.

there are also bugs for most of the about: options listed here that still don't
work.

Here's what works for me now with a 20010630 linux cvs build:
about: brings up the Mozilla info screen
about:cache  works
about:memory-cache doesn't work, but the info is available in about:cache
about:image-cache  doesn't work, see bug 60305
about:document doesn't work, but it's reachable as view page info
about:plugins  works
about:license  doesn't work, see bug 55659
about:logo  doesn't work, see bug 52104
about:mozilla  works
javascript:  works
livescript: doesn't work, but appears to have been the same as javascript:
mocha: doesn't work, but appears to have been the same as javascript:

Should we close this one, and let the more specific bugs take care of the
remaining issues?
In response to the previous comment. Quoted Verbatim from this page:
http://help.netscape.com/kb/consumer/19970513-4.html

There are other special URLs:

    * javascript:
    * livescript:
    * mocha:

These all display a field where you can enter a line of JavaScript code which
will then be interpreted immediately. ("LiveScript" and "Mocha" were development
code-names for JavaScript.)

comment 0 was clearly a request that certain urls and actions work in mozilla.
most of them do. the bug is most certainly not invalid.

I'm sorry, I misinterpreted that. My fault.

Sorry,
Joel Nackman
Among the remaining entries are about:global (functionality already exists as
Go->History), about:memory-cache and about:image-cache (already part of
about:cache) and about:document (functionality already exists as page info).

javascript: doesn't work. Is that the only reason this bug is still open?
