User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 After using the back and forward buttons, the tooltip text (e.g. 'go back one page') appears incorrectly on the back (and forward button) dropdown list. Both dropdown lists display the same text, either 'go back one page' or 'go forward one page' Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Navigate to a few websites, one after the other. 2. Go back a couple of times (using back button) 3. Check dropdon lists that appears with the back or forward button, both will now display the same text. (may have to go back/forward a few times to reproduce) Actual Results: Both back and Forward button dropdown lists display the same text. Expected Results: Back button dropdown should show 'go back one page' (or preferable n pages) Forward button dropdown should show 'go forward one page' At time I have seem this particular tooltip display totally irrelevant text as well.

Can you reproduce this in Firefox's safe-mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox)

Also, do you have any extensions or themes installed? If so, which one(s)?
Themes: None Extensions: AdblockPlus, IE Tab. Reproducing this bug is a bit difficult, what happens is that the dropdown lists (on forward and back buttons) appear to 'remember' the last tooltip displayed. So if you keep you mouse pointer on the reload page button, wait for the tooltip, then go to the forward or back dropdowns, the tooltip 'Reload current page' is displayed! This does not happen if you wait for the tooltip on the back or forward buttons themselves, which appears correctly. Apologies for the very long delay in replying.
