User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032619 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032619 Firefox/3.0b5 When I go to this website the page scrolling is very slow & appears to freeze Firefox. There is very high CPU usage during scrolling. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/ 2. Notice How slow it scrolls and the CPU usage 3.
http://www.rossde.com/ also demonstrates this bug
http://www.fourtheye.net/?p=1019 is another site with this problem
This page loads very slowly, and in error console I get the error "Unknown property 'word wrap'. Declaration dropped" many times.
I don't have any problems with Kubuntu Hardy and nv drivers. I suspect you may have a video card problem. What drivers are you using?
I think you are right, I upgraded to Ubuntu Hardy with a ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 256MB and I am no longer having any problems with slow loading on most of the pages, however http://www.fourtheye.net/?p=1019 still is scrolling slowly, tell me if this site works for you.
http://www.tuaw.com/ I am also having trouble with this site
Both work fine for me. I'm not sure what to try now.
This is probably Bug 124150
