For bug 41197, I modified downloadProgress.properties to include two extra strings for use in that bug. The spirit of downloadProgress.properties has nothing to do with bug 41197, but I didn't want to incurr the risk of creating a localizable properties file for this bug. Thus, I wanted to piggyback onto another properties file, and downloadProgress.properties sort of fit the bill. This bug says: we should have a misc.properties file for things that need to do localization, but don't want to have their own .properties file. Ed

This bug has not been touched since 2000-06-28, therefore this reminder. Reporter: is the problem described still relevant or can this bug be closed ?

Given that the bug hasn't been touched since the original request for update in 2002 (comment 2), I'm going to resolve this as WONTFIX. The l10n landscape has changed a lot since 2000.
