I was sending a lot of mail to the hook late last night and I discovered that none of it was getting delivered. The compose envelope was dropping most of the recipients. I was clicking on the Send mail to the hook link off of Bonsai. I typed my message and hit send. Only the first 9 or so names actually received the message. All newsgroups, and remaining people on the hook never got the mail. I'm wondering if this is related to the new tree widget.
Nominating for dogfood and beta2. Pretty nasty data loss.

Accepting.

there is 2 problem here: 1) the last address in the mailto url (sheriffs@netscape.com) nerver get up to the compose window! 2)recipients #4 to #n-1 are missing during the send process if you have never scroll up the list int the addressing widget. David Hyatt, Looks like the second problem it yours!
If that's the case, should we split this bug into 2 bugs and assign one of them to hyatt and then keep looking at why #1 happens?
Jean-Francois, could you give an update about where you are on this bug? thanks.
due to a new regression (bug 43575), we are now loosing every pre-filled recipients. I will have first to solve bug 43575 before I can again looks at this one!
Jean-Francois, if you try backing out the changes I talked about in 43575, does this go away as well? If so, we should reassign this to Rod also.
With both nsGfxTextControlFrame2.h & nsGfxTextControlFrame2.cpp back out (see bug 43575), I don't see the both issues mentioned in this bug report. As this bug has been reported before the check in I just backed out, it looks like that some other checkin has fixed this problem. Therefore once bug 43575 fixed, we should be able to close this bug as fixed too.
Depends on: 43575
