I have a patch for the recent files submenu in Composer. I'm told it works on Windows. However, when I try to look at the submenu on Mac, I get an assert: ###!!! ASSERTION: Unable to retrieve the document.: 'Error', file nsMenu.cpp, line 1265
we need this in Composer (File | Recent Pages); it works on all platforms except Macintosh.

I tried this on Mac and the recent pages in composer are not appearing. Not sure if the problem is sub menus but we should look at the problem. Reopening
