- go to my.netscape.com - log in so you see your personal page the layout is in two columns instead of three, in fact, the 3rd column is _missing entirely_
if i can't use my.netscape, this is dogfood for me.

ok, i reloaded the page and all was well...but it worries me sick that sometimes we just lose content and don't think anything is wrong. not dogfood, but nsbeta2 for sure.

note the image should have three columns, not two. I'm really not crazy ;) Honest ;)
Putting on [nsbeta2-] radar. Not critical to beta2. Adding "nsbeta3" keyword for consideration of a fix for that milestone. This is also a windows problem, changing platform to all.

Do the problems go away if you resize the window? If so, it's incremental layout. I tried to reproduce something similar to what you saw - and I got something almost identical by hitting the Stop button in the middle of the page load. When you see this, is the footer visible at the bottom? (It's at the end of the HTML.) It seems somewhat like the end of the transfer is being cut off. Does this happen again when the content of the page (and the size of that content) changes? (Could it be a cache problem?)

no, i have to reload the document in order to get it to draw properly. resizing the window doesn't help.
I think this might be related to a problem I see almost daily on tinderbox, the content of some table cells is missing (it's white, not green (or red, or orange)), somtimes only parts of some cells show up as white. Resizeing doesn't help there either, only reload...
Yeah. Most of us have seen it one time or the other. Kevin would your team be the right starting point.

This seems like it would be a table issue to me and not a rendering issue. The first tab after <body> is <table>. I tested it out on WinNT and it looked ok. I will reassign to attinasi so he can do the right thing.

We already have a bug open on the Tinderbox display problem (in karnaze's list, bug 27529). I cannot reporduce the problem on my netscape...
my.netscape.com works fine for me on NT and Linux. Marking WORKSFORME. Mike, if you are still seeing this problem then please reopen the bug and we'll have to dig deeper and find out why.

this problem is intermittant, but is obviously there. reopening.

Are we sure the problem is _obviously_ there? Nobody has reported seeing it in almost a month. Mike, are you still seeing it now, even if intermittently? Updating platform to Mac since nobody on NT or Linux seems to have seen the problem.
Hardware: All → Macintosh
ok, i'll reopen if i see it.
