Please read http://developer.mozilla.org/En/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report and be sure that you gave the latest Acrobat Reader installed.

I uninstalled the Adobe Reader v 9 and the problem went away. I thank you for the help. If after reinstall of the Adobe Reader v 9, FF3 still doesn't work, I'll use a different pdf reader. Grace and Peace, Jerry

It crashes for every pdf file I attempt to download from the internet for the version 9 of the Adobe reader. Version 8 works just fine. However, I have opted to use another pdf reader (Foxit Reader ver 2.0).

The UserAgent you show up there is more than 128 characters , and FF3 returns NULL for UserAgent (bug 328778). Windows Adobe Reader/Acrobat is known to crash in that case. This is also a duplicate of bug of 450919 which shows the same UserAgent. AFAIK, Firefox 3.0.4 contains the fix for NULL; I'm also not allowed to comment on future Adobe patches that may or may not fix this as well.

Thanks Rudi for the comment ! I forget that we had this issue in 3.0.X Jeniffer: This is a bug both in Firefox and in the Acrobat plugin. You can try this if you still want to use the Acrobat Reader. Type about:config, confirm the warning, enter "useragent" in the filter box at the top and select "reset" for the line with "Dealio Toolbar 3.1" or "Creative ZENcast v2.01.01"
