User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Dealio Toolbar 3.1 Firefox/3.0.3 Creative ZENcast v2.01.01
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Dealio Toolbar 3.1 Firefox/3.0.3 Creative ZENcast v2.01.01

I have deleted FF 3.0.3 and reinstalled it and still have the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Access TD Ameritrade website
2. Go to page to download monthly statement
3. Click on desired monthly statement
4. FF crashes and asks to send error report to Microsoft
Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
I expected to receive a pdf file loaded to my desktop.

I should have received a copy of my statement in pdf format on my desktop.
I have a copy of the error report but can't seem to paste it here.
Please read http://developer.mozilla.org/En/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report and be sure that you gave the latest Acrobat Reader installed.
Here's the crash report ID: 4cf4ee45-a12e-11dd-9492-001cc45a2c28
Adobe Reader version 9 is installed.
Did you try to reinstall the acrobat reader ?
It seems to crash while initializing the plugin

0  	msvcr80.dll  	msvcr80.dll@0x14500
1 	xul.dll 	ns4xPluginInstance::InitializePlugin 	mozilla/modules/plugin/base/src/ns4xPluginInstance.cpp:1114
2 	xul.dll 	nsPluginHostImpl::TrySetUpPluginInstance 	mozilla/modules/plugin/base/src/nsPluginHostImpl.cpp:4108
3 	xul.dll 	nsPluginHostImpl::SetUpPluginInstance 	mozilla/modules/plugin/base/src/nsPluginHostImpl.cpp:3912
I uninstalled the Adobe Reader v 9 and the problem went away. I thank you for the help. If after reinstall of the Adobe Reader v 9, FF3 still doesn't work, I'll use a different pdf reader.

Grace and Peace,
Jerry
After reinstall of Adobe Reader v9 the initial problem returned. Just wanted you all to know.

Grace and Peace,
Jerry
i don't know why Acrobat reader crashes on your system,it works well for me.
The safemode didn't help with the crash ?
Does it only crash for this pdf files or does it crash with every pdf ?
It crashes for every pdf file I attempt to download from the internet for the version 9 of the Adobe reader. Version 8 works just fine. However, I have opted to use another pdf reader (Foxit Reader ver 2.0).
The UserAgent you show up there is more than 128 characters , and FF3 returns NULL for UserAgent (bug 328778). Windows Adobe Reader/Acrobat is known to crash in that case.

This is also a duplicate of bug of 450919 which shows the same UserAgent.

AFAIK, Firefox 3.0.4 contains the fix for NULL; I'm also not allowed to comment on future Adobe patches that may or may not fix this as well.
Thanks Rudi for the comment !
I forget that we had this issue in 3.0.X

Jeniffer:
This is a bug both in Firefox and in the Acrobat plugin.
You can try this if you still want to use the Acrobat Reader.
Type about:config, confirm the warning, enter "useragent" in the filter box at the top and select "reset" for the line with "Dealio Toolbar 3.1" or "Creative ZENcast v2.01.01"
