Lately I've been seeing lots of "Read C:\Path\To\Local\Skin\Image.gif", usually 
related to loading scrollbar images.  I'm not even sure why we're loading such 
images (a bug in itself?) but we certainly shouldn't be telling the user about 
it, or cluttering the statusbar with things they won't understand ('huh? this 
site is loading an image from my hard drive??').  Will attach a screenshot from 
one incident where this happened in an installer build...

Where are you seeing these messages? I see this load just fine without them. (and 
david confirms) Marking as invalid.

not invalid, many others have seen them also.  Forgot to mention that I've only 
seen this in the classic skin, so perhaps this should be in Themes?

Sending back to reporter for details of how to reproduce the bug.  I am sure this 
is not a Themes bug but I do not understand the issue well enough to help route 
it to the correct place.  Hyatt/Ben do you guys know what this is?

OK, this actually isn't skin-dependent; sending back to networking.

(fwiw, I can reproduce this every time by going to mozilla.org, then reloading 
and watching the statusbar)

Using build 2001072208-trunk on win98, I still see this bug from time to time.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce it.

However, whenever it *does* appear, it _always_ shows:
"C:\Program Files\My Programs\Network\Mozilla\bin\res\arrow.gif"
as the element loaded.

does anyone still see this bug? I haven't seen it in months, and am inclined to
believe it was fixed with one of the many polish bugs over the past months...
