I am seeing this on Windows classic as well. not sure if this may be a tree bug,
because when you resize the window, the columns move to line up properly. So
after resizing the window, the columns and threads line up like they should.

reassigning to hyatt. I think this is a tree bug. It started showing up the day
splitters were put in the column headers.

hmmm, this is a pretty visual bug for mail. Does this correct itself when the
user adjusts a column header?

Using build 2000-08-31-06M18: Mac 9.04
How can I duplicate this problem because the content is alligning with the
columns for me?

I see this on both winnt and win98 all the time. Peter, can you say anything
about the factors that got this bug minused compared to other bugs?

It doesn't fit the latest triage criteria. There is no crash, no data loss, no
severe leak, no standards issue, no loss of function. Besides, it is only
cosmetic, and has an easy workaround. With severe limitations on time/resources,
and many worse problems in the product, this just isn't worth it. I see it too,
but since we don't seem to save column state, I need to adjust the column widths
anyway, which clears up the problem.

Unless hyatt knows differently, I think we can mark this fixed.

This appears fixed on the branch. Since I'm not sure when this was fixed I am
adding 'vtrunk' so that it is also checked on the trunk.
