i have framemaker for win32 and for linux . for linux UI is blue ... and it look strange for me. netscape4.xx have very pretty face to change it with something blue.
Modern is memorable, it has well realizeable ideas in it and we should not be forever stuck with "old good" one. This is new and this should be used in a new product. Dont take old user's associations to a new product.

no votes left, but i like modern better, too. Not because Modern were a genious peice of UI design, but because of classic's shortcomings: - I dislike the buttons. - Classic Unix emulates Motif, which is completely outdated even on Unix. I like the - pixmap background - hover effect in modern.
