9/13-12 w32talkback w2k Steps to reproduce: Run Mozilla [-console if you like], and nice it [windows2000, set priority low] Load chofmann's Browser Buster (top 100 site list) [bug url] Leave it running, do not interfere. Eventually you should get modal popup windows: Error loading page (I got them for: www.benews.com www.davesclassic.com www.filez.com ) I think they are window modal (but sometimes act like they're app modal -- possibly when moz is close to not responding) and possibly an NBCi HelpCenter window <when i reproduced it, i didn't get this window> Memory and VM usage are ~30MB each, cpu time is ~4:20 and mozilla is no longer responding.

pretty sure this is reported already. I'll look for it.

a dupe of one of the bugs under 25684?
Definately not, sorry, the windows don't get stuck behind, i'll show you [actually we'll start mozilla on the testpage and you can come back tomorrow to see that the dialogs are visible and that mozilla is eating the cpu] I don't think that other bug had cpu eating issues.

timeless, do we still suck here. Any idea who I shuold send this to? I suppose that whoever in networking is calling the error or whoever in XPApps is building the error dialog would be most likely candidates.

timeless, this bug is pretty old. Our MTBF was much higher with 6.1 than 6.0. Have you seen this recently?
