User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; InfoPath.2; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: 3.0.17

We have a program that allows us to click on a pdf file, copies the network path of that file to the clipboard, and then within Firefox we used to (v2.0) be able to right click and paste the path to the file. The newer versions of Firefox do not allow for the pasting, instead it opens up a file browse dialog box which will really hurt our staffs accuracy and speed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. In another program copy the path to a file
2. Click in a file browse prompt on a webpage
3. Try to right click or Ctrl + V, another dialog box will pop up
Actual Results:
same thing

Expected Results:
Should have pasted the path to the file.
This is a duplicate of Bug 412766, which is itself a duplicate of Bug 356071. This looks to be by design.
