From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT) BuildID: 2000101014 When viewing longer HTML document that contains links to some other part of the same page (lets say there is an index at the top of the document pointing to each of chapters that follow index) the browser doesn't scroll the view to display the other part. If you click on a link described above nothing happens. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open for example http://www.w3.org/TR/1998/REC-xml-19980210.html 2.Scroll manualy down a little bit to see the Table of Contents 3.Try to click one of TOC items to navigate to the corresponding chapter Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: Browser should scroll its view to display requested part of the document

This has been fixed as of the 20001020 builds, if I recall correctly. Try a recent build? Most likely duplicate of bug 56285
