Build ID: new trunk Steps to Reproduce: (1) Go to any page that requires a plugin that you don't have. (2) Click on the space where the "Get the plugin" message is. The dialog that appears says to enable AutoInstall in the Advanced panel of the Preferences window. Do you mean Software Installation in Advanced > Software Installation? If so, you need to specify that.

I did the Default Plug-in work on the Mac. It, however does not bring up any dialogs. This is a PC and/or Linux issue. Reassigning to av.
