From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.75 [en] (Win95; U) BuildID: 2001013104 when opening a new window, sometimes a blank page remains after the contents flickered by Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: (I have done this with as homepage about:mozilla, but I've also seen this with various other pages) 1. open a new page using ctrl+N Actual Results: a blank page Expected Results: about:mozilla If you hit ctrl+N from this page, another new page is loaded correctly. Going back to the first new page, it's suddenly displayed correct, but returning once you return to the last new page, suddenly this one is blank. Dropping menus reveals the contents of the page in the area where the menu was painted, and minimizing/maximizing the page briefly shows the contents. I suspect http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67046 is the same bug.

maybe I haven't made myself clear enough: this happens in the browser component, almost every time I open a page in a new window.
I see this bug as described. I also see it in the View Source window, including the part about the window contents being shown briefly when switching windows and then being whited out again. Confirming as a major regression. I see this on build 2001 020204 on Win98. kmcclusk@netscape.com, did you mean to reassign this to Editor? This does seem like a drawing problem...
