Details
XML-Code appears plain on the screen, instead of beeing parsed... but just on certain servers..? Tried with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; 0.8) Gecko/20010213 and m0.7

http://www.w3.org/Style/Examples/001/doc.xml this one works (same xml-file!)
http://jarps.gomp.net/doc.xml returns Content-Type: text/plain, not text/xml. Depending on how Mozilla is supposed to handle this situation, this may be an invalid bug.

Yes, when the server specifies a Content-Type the browser shouldn't second guess it based on local naming conventions. Mozilla is doing the right thing here. INVALID. See: http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/NOTE-cuap-20010206#cp-no-override-ct
