OS: Windows 2000 Build: 2001030505 Steps to reproduce: Load http://www.mozilla.org/ Enter ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/ in the Location bar manually, press Enter The FTP site loads but the Title bar remains "mozilla.org - Mozilla {Build ID: 2001030505}" Hope it's not been submitted already, I searched for such a bug in Networking:FTP and didn't see it whereas the bug is obvious. The bug disappears when loading a subdirectory in the FTP site, for example double-clicking on pub/ on ftp.mozilla.org shows ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/ in the Title bar.
Linux 2001030521 I couldn't try with mozilla.org (ftp seems down at moment of writing) but I tried with gtk.org : 1. http://www.gtk.org/ 2. ftp://ftp.gtk.org/ No problem
OS: Windows 2000 Build: 2001030505 I went to http://www.gtk.otg/ via the Location bar, waited until it loads entirely. Then manually loaded ftp://ftp.gtk.org/ (via the URL bar) and got the result shown on the previous screenshot. I'll try on Linux tonight. Another example would be: http://freshmeat.net/projects/glib/ Click on the FTP link, and see if Title bar changes, for me, it doesn't. (I use PASV mode for FTP, perhaps there's a link...)
