This bug is a residual of bug #1508. The original issue of that bug dealing
with border/padding on inline elements was repaired. Therefore, that bug has
been closed. However, there are other issues with the page. As Kipp quoted in
the previous bug:

'..there are still several other issues on this page, including how borders are
rendered in a situation where the inline element is continued on multiple lines.
So I'm reassigning this temporarily to michaelp so that he can fix up the
rendering issues and then reassign it back to me.'

This is basically a duplicate of bug 2010. However, because of the "reassign it
back to me" comment from kipp, I won't mark it as a duplicate (although I'm not
sure why he said that).
I guess my note didn't quite indicate what the problem is. When a border edge is
not rendered, for example on a beveled border, then some of the other edges need
to render differently. For example, assume that the right border of a "groove"
border is not rendered. When this occurs, the border rendering logic should
render the top and bottom edges such that the right edge of the border is not
beveled.

Basically, any of the border styles with beveling need to factor this into their
rendering.

After asking kipp, I'm marking this as duplicate of 2010.
