I stole the test at the URL: http://slip/projects/dogbert/test/web/html/stylesheets/cssstylesheets/w3c_float_ test.html from the W3C site as it shows better than anything we currently had that the float attribute doesn't work. To see an image of what the page _should_ look like go to this URL: http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/w3c-l (reported at request of W3C)

This is a bug in the old code base, not nglayout. The test looks fine in nglayout.

Using 3/23 build on Win 95, Win 98, Win NT, Linux and Mac8.5, the float properties appear to work correctly. However, the page does not scroll to bottom. Janc - can you take a look and see what you think?

Tested using 4/26 Apprunner on Win 95, Win NT, Win 98, Mac8.5 and Linux. Page is not scrambled and no longer has the scrolling problems as described in 3/24 comments. Verifying bug fixed.
