I assume the "MySQL server has gone away at globals.pl line 173, <STDIN> chunk

Maybe I posted this some _years_ ago. Each time I'd like to attach a large
PostScript file I his this <censored rating="heavy">*******</censored> issue...

The upper limit for the attachment size is a local configuration issue
of the MySQL database.

Is it possible to increase this limit for cetain mimetypes (text/*,
application/pdf, application/postscript), please please ?
Most PostScript files we're going to analyse are in the 1MB-2MB rage - and
they're all related to specific bugs...

Please read Dawn's comments in bug 59390.  I guess not.
The best thing in these cases is to put the file somewhere on the web and
provide a link to that place.

OK... I read it... but I'm not asking for 50MB free webspace... :-)
I'm asking if the amount for text and text-like files can be increased a little
bit...
Problem is that those external files usually disappear after some months -
BugZilla is already filled-up with external broken links - I'd like to avoid
this situation...
