We need accellerators for expand all threads and collapse all threads.
Attached patch patchSplinter Review
I agree we need accelerators.

but I think there are issues (in another bug, somewhere) with using those
particular keys.

jglick or mpt will know.
Looking at the key plan I didn't see those keys used and didn't see them listed
anywhere else with any other keys. Does anyone else have any better
suggestions? I just pulled them from 4.x.
personally i like those choices and i don't see any issues. nor can i recall
any.

if we figure out the issues, we can change the accelerators.

sorry for the round trips on this, I should have done that from the start.
Checked in. Thanks!

Reopening due to win and linux problem. The Expand Accelerator is not working
("*"), but the Collapse is working ("/").

This is a dup of bug 64256 (and not the other way around since 64256 asks for 4
keys and this only asks for 2).

Would anyone have a problem with me changing the "collapse all threads"
accelerator to something other than the / key?

I'd like to use the / to start text search in mailnews, which is pretty
standard. We've been using / for text search ever since we started doing type
ahead find. It seems like that should take precedence over / for collapse all
threads.
