Using builds 2001-04-09 on winme, mac and linux images that are attached or inserted in a mail message do not display when the message is located in a Local folder. 1. Launch app and open mail. 2. Open a mail msg with an attached .gif or .jpg (note, if you opened it in an IMAP account you can see the images in the message pane) 3. Copy the message to a Local folder, open the folder and select the message. Result: the images don't display in the message pane Expected: images to be displayed in message pane for local folders too. Note: this make the default Templates image-less when they reside in the default location: Local Folders.
Doesn't work on Win 2000 either in 4/15 build. Marking nsbeta1+

scott, is this due to the same thing you had to fix in imap?
Yeah I fixed this after libpr0n landed. Not sure why my change regressed...I'll take a look this is a protocol bug not a FE bug.

using build 2001-05-02 on win, mac and linux I sent myself a msg with .gif and .jpg, viewed them in my IMAP account and copied the msg to my local folder. I was able to see the .gif & .jpg in the body of the mail msg. Verified
